Delivery
How we pack, ship and hand over your order. We do not sell alcohol to minors, so an adult signature is required on every delivery.

1. Age check on delivery
Orders are handed over only to an adult aged 18 or older. The courier asks for ID and a signature is always required. If nobody aged 18 or older can show ID, the order is not handed over.
We deliver only to the address given with your order or to an official carrier pick-up point, where ID is required as well. Parcels are not left with neighbours or unattended.
2. Carriers and transit times
Transit times are estimates in business days and start when your order is dispatched.

3. Standard shipping rates
Rates are in euros including 21% VAT, for orders of fewer than 4 bottles and under 8 kg. They include a certified UPS/DHL protective box and packing material. Your invoice shows the applicable VAT treatment, so the final amount may differ.

5. Larger orders and insurance
- For 4 bottles or more, or 8 kg or more, we quote an exact shipping rate, usually within 24 hours.
- Bespoke shipping arrangements are available on request.
- Insurance is not included. It is available on request; please assume 10% of the order amount.
6. Destinations and lead times
- We do not ship to Greenland, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine or Vietnam.
- We do not ship to the US states of Alabama, Arkansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Utah or West Virginia. Please allow about 2 extra business days for other US deliveries.
- Canadian shipments have a longer lead time because of additional planning and procedures.
7. Customs, duties and licences
Orders to business addresses elsewhere in the EU require your import licence number. For international orders, local taxes, customs charges, duties and import licence requirements are always for the buyer.
We do not refund bottles returned because customs charges, duties or taxes were not paid, and we are not responsible for delays, damage or seizure caused by customs.
